Blood in the Urine

Once you schedule your initial office visit, Dr. Lacefield will start looking into the various reasons why you may have blood in your urine. Some of the most common culprits include:

– A urinary tract infection in the kidney or bladder – Prostate problems – Kidney stones – Bladder cancer

From there, depending on age and risk factors, you may undergo further testing. This may include cystoscopy, a quick look in your bladder with a camera in the office, and CT scan to evaluate your kidneys.
